CID 20® Water Soluble Disinfectant
CID 20 is one of the World’s most robust disinfectants, based on 5 active ingredients (with 263.3 g/l total active), effectively at an extremely LOW DILUTION against ALL micro-organisms.
SYNERGISTIC COMPOSITION
- quaternary ammonia (alkyldimethylbenzylammoniumchloride): 61.5 g/l
- glutaraldehyde: 58 g/l
- formaldehyde: 84 g/l
- glyoxal: 19.8 g/l
- alcohol: isopropanol: 40 g/l and also contains pineoil, buffering agents and stabilisers.
LONG LASTING ACTION: CID 20 has a long residual action, preventing the build up of micro-organisms.
COMPLETE SPECTRUM: CID 20 kills ALL micro-organisms: viruses, bacteria and fungi, including their spores.

ECONOMICAL IN USE
CID 20, because of its strong concentration, works at extremely low dilutions and is therefore very economical.
EFFECTIVE UNDER EXTREME CONDITIONS
CID 20 works in
- a temperature range from 4°C to over 50°C
- the presence of organic matter
- high light intensity
- hard water
INTERNATIONALLY TESTED AND RECOGNISED
CID 20 is registered in many countries, world wide, and has successfully passed many tests, such as, in Europe: the European Suspension Test (EST) and many national homologations (AFNOR and others) as well as in Asia, Latin America and Africa, all available upon request.
SAFE FOR PEOPLE, ANIMALS, EQUIPMENT AND THE ENVIRONMENT
CID 20 is
- non harmful
- non corrosive
- more than 90% biodegradable (OECD standards)
VERSATILE APPLICATION
CID 20 can be
- sprayed, using 1l of dilute product / 4m2, diluted at 0.25 – 0.50 or 1:400 – 1:200 or 2.5 ml/l – 5.0 ml/l
- foamed (with a foam lance), which shows clearly where the product has been applied and ensures longer contact time
- fogged (with a thermo-fogger) for ambient disinfection (1.5l CID 20 + 3l water / 1000m3).
